Cappadocia Splendid Cave Hotel - Ortahisar

perfectly positioned for a weekend of city exploration and views

Staying here allowed me to easily discover nearby landmarks like Isaac Castle, just a 10-minute stroll away, and the amazing Goreme Open Air Museum, almost 3 km down the road, making my weekend getaway enjoyable and full of exploration.

the staff was very helpful and excellent and we would have stayed for longer. the room was beautifully decorated and well heated with a high ceiling and a separate bedroom as described. it had nice and magnificent location right by goereme the main town, local attractions and caves. restaurant food was incredible.

Location very close to Goereme the main town, and Cappadocia. Nicely decorated, absolutely fabulous room with a comfortable bed. The staff were outstandingly accommodating and assisted with free parking.

Wi-Fi was bad.

Thanks to all affable and helpful staff. The location is lovely, 10 minutes' walk to Uchisar Castle. There is the point that it's 4-6 minutes walking distance from the heart of the city...

Very nice hiking opportunities await right outside the door.

My experience was far from satisfactory. The hotel felt neglected, as the cleanliness left much to be desired. My room wasn't properly cleaned, and I found damp sheets, utterly unacceptable. The dining arrangements were disappointing-the food was below average, and it was baffling that no printed menu was available, causing confusion and frustration.

The cave architecture provided a cool and therapeutic atmosphere, while the fine valley views was nice. Plus, the personalized breakfast service included delicious gluten-free options.

The cave room was stunning and surprisingly comfortable. I loved that the hotel is carved into the rock, with amazing views of the valley. It. Exploring nearby attractions like Ortahisar Castle was easy, providing a great balance between relaxation and adventure.

The cave room was so comfortable and had fine valley views. The staff were really good, even setting up a special breakfast service on Sunday. Plus, they were super accommodating with gluten-free foods for my daughter 🥳

Just a proper fit for strolling around in Ortahisar with all in all great value for money. The rock-carved accommodation was cozy and unique, perfect for the overall experience. If you enjoy hiking, make sure to explore the nearby trails!

Sallih's crew was super accommodating, even prepping gluten-free snacks for my daughter! The cave room was like a cool oasis, and the views of the valley? Just wow! So peaceful and close to shops and Ortahisar Castle.

The rock-carved accommodation offers amazing valley views, and the cave rooms maintain a surprising comfort in temperature. The staff demonstrated very nice hospitality, accommodating specific dietary needs with fresh coconut milk and treats for my daughter. Location-wise, while it's quiet and close to local shops, the accessibility to major attractions isn't ideal was great.

The atmosphere at this place is unique, and the suite has a lovely garden view and convenient amenities like an electric kettle and a fridge, making it a great recommendation for a stay.
